What is this?

Can someone identify this species for me? Thanks. The lfs guy had no idea, but it grows like madd in my refuge. It started out the size of a baseball, and has now engulfed half of my 40 gallon refugium in just 2 months.

...not sure if the scientific name up there is right or not. but for those who don't want to google the name, it's also called eelgrass. i have some from nybutterfly, i love it. when i had horses they loved it aswell. grows nice and looks nice.
