I also had one of those filters, the noise and the bubbles are normal, there is nothing you can do, it is just not the best skimmer IMO

I purchased this at my LFS yesterday, they said it was a leather toadstool, will it get bigger and get the folds like others I have seen, sorry the pic is not very good. Also how fast do they usually grow???

Just an update, my smaller clownfish died yesterday and tonight I came home to do a water change and my remaining clownfish was swimming normally, when i put the siphon in the water and started taking water out he died right before my eyes, I have never seen anything like it and could not...
