    Thinking

As long as your water quality is good through biological, mechanical and chemical filtration and have good lighting you can have a successful reef tank in a tank that size. My reef is 10g. Just make sure you keep up on maintenance.

    Silicates??

to answer your bee question, yes the dead bees in your water still go through the same cycle as a fish would. Ive seen it before with flys.

The jager heaters ARE submersible. It is because they are made in europe, i think i heard that they do test them for submersion. But my local fish store submerses their jager heaters and i submerse my own at home

    Toad Stool

all leather corals go through a sloughing where they shed their slime coat or something like that haha. But it is normal and they all do it at different times. I wouldnt worry too much if your other corals are doing well.

    New 120g Build

I would go with a 3 chamber sump, first drain, second fuge, and third return and skimmer. A skimmer rated for 120 will be okay especially if you have a working fuge. In theory tanks should be able to run on one or the other alone. The lighting, i would stick with traditional lighting methods...

    copepods.

i wouldnt put anything like that in in my tank... you dont know what kind of chemicals those sponges can leach into your system. Copepods breed in live rock rubble, the small crevices of the rubble protect them from other fish. My advice break up a piece of your live rock and put it in the...
