Will this setup work? having two ten gallon tanks under my 55 gallon tank with a siphon u tube connecting the tanks together? All i am concerned about is if the siphon u tube will work or will i HAVE to drill holes in the tanks.....Thanks to anybody who has answers

For some reason this week my skimmer turned from producing nasty brown bubbles to making bright lime green bubbles in the collection cup....i was just wondering what could of caused this or is it normal

So i am picking up a snowflake eel on thursday for my 55 gal that just got done cycling Tell me everything i need to know about these eels anything from what i feed them ,to how their poop looks And what else should i think about putting in the tank (55 gal FOWLR) Any imput would be great thanks

i just started cycling my 55 gal tank, and was just reading how much algae grows with regular normal flourescents... so my quesion is...Do i need a 260 watt compact flourescence lighting fixture if i just plan on keeping fish. And can i get away with a way cheaper compact flourescent fixture...

are peppermint and cleaner shrimps compatible in any scenario? i have aipstia but i already have a cleaner shrimp in my tank??????????????

i am moving my 12 g aquapod back home on thursday night. My tank is now with me at school and im taking it back to my house which is an hour and a half away. Fish : clown and yellow wrasse (maybe a royal gramma...it dissapeared a couple days ago with no signs of nitrates or anything) Corals ...

do i have to worry about them being in my tank at all?

ive seen two of these in my tank....they seem like some kinda slug...they are about half the size of a penny

thanks........is your clown interested in the frogspawn you have?...cause its neat to watch clownfish be hosted by something but i dont want my coral to die cause of it...maybe ill get rid of my goniopora and pick up some frogspawn

I went home for the weekend for easter and i come back to my green goniopora coral looking pretty pathetic....my roomate fed and watched my tank for me..... but before i left(friday) the goniopora coral was stretched out pretty far and was prolly about the size of a softball and now its tiny...

the yellow fish was called a lemon wrasse at my LFS but in the book i have it is called a yellow wrasse........and yea my shrimp is always out causing trouble at all times of the day

hey earlier in the thread you say you feed your corals at night when there feelers are out....by that do you mean when just your moon lights are on or what?
