    Moving outta state - suggestions??

Any suggestions on moving a 65 gal reef+fishtank (8 fish + 2 shrimp + assorted cleaner crew). We plan to drive, which will be under 10h. My fiancee will be headed to the new place a week earlier. I was thinking of sending the RO unit with a 20 gal tank with her to set up a temp tank. Wonder how...

    Do UV Sterilizer's Work?

What are your thought's on using UV sterilization. It seems to me that even though one may not absolutely control parasites like Ick, one could certainly significanly decrease the population of harmful bacteria/fungi/viruses etc in the water column, which may go a long way in controlling...

Ick - copper or hypo tx?

I'll get us started. Right now after doing a lot of research on the two treatments, I'm favoring the copper treatment (even though it means a dedicated tank) because it seems that less can go wrong with the treatment. If the pH, alkalinity and hyposalinity are not done right, the fish may be...

Ick - copper or hypo tx?

What's the general consensus. Copper tx or hyposalinity tx? I'm about to set up a hospital tank and if I can avoid contaminating the tank with copper that would be a bonus. I have a tankful of ick invested fish, all starting with a blue tang. Not his fault though.

He found it a few days after I added the bubble anemone to the tank and now its his little baby! And dare I put my hand anywhere near his anemone. I'm planning...
