yeah, the corals didn't look happy, anemone, neither. Fish, well, they didn't say anything to me. It was actually yesterday that the tank got hot. the frogspawn has looked the same for about 24 hours now. Time will tell. I'll post an update. I can only assume that 96 was the hottest too...

It got really hot hear and I failed to make the proper adjustments for my lighting and hood and my tank got really hot. When I got home at night it was showing 96 boiling degrees. Most of my corals didn't look happy but I was able to chill it slowly using bags of ice. Everything is looking ok...

all you did was move it and it was better?

I had some algae problems and I put an emerald crab in my tank. it was gone ASAP. I also had a problem with the red cyno algae and it was gone as soon as i added a little fuge in the back chamber of my nano.

Things are getting tight in my tank, i bet it will be getting ugly soon. I hope they don't cause too much trouble though.

parameters all seem to be ok, the other half dozen snails are doing fine. It may have been a homicide commited by my hermits. It was a pretty big snail i picked up about 6 weeks ago and acclimated for several hours. do they die of old age? Thanks for all the help!

when i was in middle school one of my teachers had a 1 gallon glass jar of river mud. it was freshwater and gathered in in the river nearby. it had about 1 1/2 inch of mud/sediment and some water. There was a couple sprigs of some sort of water plant and you could see an occasional bug or 2...

I had a turbo that kept rolling over on his back but was still tucked into his shell. Now, today, his shell is emtpy (he must be a gonner) but there is a small disk about 2/3 of the size of a dime sitting next to his shell. it is flat and shiny. what is it?

i cut a piece of plastic to block nearly all the water at the top. the water level in the 2 chambers are about 1/2 inch lower than the rest of the tank so there is a little bit of overflow action.
