So it's been a while since I've been back so I figured I would update with a video. First link is to my old thread and you can see where i started with my reef, and what it looks like now with the video...

Definitely get rid of the crushed coral. The tank I bought came with about 20lbs of crushed and I've been picking it out little by little, I just don't like the look of it and it makes it a little hard for my sand sifters to do their job

Congrats! Seeing faces like that is priceless. When I told my girlfriend the total of how much we had invested in our tank so far she just gave me a whole minute silent glare and said "I guess we know what we might be selling to pay off our kids college tuition..."

Anyone tried Reef Chilli here? There's a guy on another message board that uses only that and his corals have an insane growth rate, I mean he also has some high end equipment as well so his water is always awesome, but has anyone tried it?
