my mom was given a 24 gallon aquapod which im trying to help her with. we tested lights and only the blue light turns on. we bought a new daylight but still nothing. also the fan and the moonlights dont turn on. any ideas what it can be? thanks for any info

i just got my 1st powerhead for my tank and have a question. it says it is completely submersible but does the power cord part that is connected to it also go in the water? ive seen other peoples tanks with the power heads near the bottom but i cant tell if the cord is also in there. please help.
