to anyone near fraser area that is in need of some live sand feel free to email me at daytonight4u@yahoo.com i would be more then happy to give out some sand to help someone start out
from what i have heard silicone will not stick to acrylic good and comes off easy i glued acrylic to a glass tank to make dividers and when it was time to straighten the glue, cut off the extra stuff the stuff came right off the acrylic with ease
if ur talking about the power heads or pumps that move nope they are not that is just 3/4 inch pvc there that i left able to be moved to change the flows off and on
if u add sand do only about a 1/4 inch at a time that is what i did to get my sand to a 4 inch level do about a 1/4 a week till u get it to what u want i would have between a 4 and 5 inch sand depth and u can add rock as u want i have about 120 pounds in mine with some of it as base rock under...
u can always build ur own refugium i did it with a 55 gallon tank
i sectioned it off to make diffrent areas its the cheaper way to go
if u want a pic of how i did it just email me at daytonight4u@yahoo.com
