tanks guys I do have tank covered in glass with lights sitting on top. I will have to rig up a temp thing untill hubby builds me a canopy, there is no heater in the tank so I imagine the heat is coming from the lights.

my tank is at 86 now today its going to be 86 outside how can i lower the temp? cant afford chiller right now

I feel so bad now that everyone is picking on bob the builder , it was all in good fun not to imply that he was someone else. he is only trying to help and isnt that why we are all here in the fist place it to help eachother when we are in need of it :)

I notice sonetimes that it has this brown mucus type stringy stuff coming out of its mouth this does not happen everyday but at least once a week. my question is what is it? and will it harm tank?
