just got everything from the aqua pod 24 transfered to a 50 breeder .. let me know what you all think

a good mod and easy to do ....cut a piece of acrylic to block the lower portion of slots , on the right hand side of tank to make it skimm the top

the mj 1200 works great for the return ...and yes the black y on the return end is stock

as a plumber if you restrict intake .its less water moved but restict output it s a bigger blast of h2o same amount moved like a finger over a hose...if you slow flow comming in it might over heat ...that amount might be needed for cooling

get a halide clip on and build a backless or fanned hood

if i went to the 50 gal range ..id go 50 breeder cause of the width of the tank ...i agree a 55 would be really hard to scape..but good luck on your tank

for the price of the lighting id just go halide can always add a few pc or t5 if you have the room ...

sorry just meant to flop light so they go on with blues...im not sure if they can be wired to run 24-7

for the temp to go up at night is odd .... im going with peef on this open the top a bit ....or flip flop the lights so your fan stays on all the time
