Got a quick question. have a 55 acrylic tank, it needs 2 new bulkheads. Do I use cement to get a tight seal for these? If so what kind. Also should I be using tape on one end of the fittings. Thanks. just dont want any leakage!!!

Has anyone used Novus to get scratches out of acrylic tanks? Does it work and is it safe for the inside? Thanks......

someone suggested I use Novus 2 or Novus 3. Is this product save to use in my tank, if so does it work and where could I purchase it. Thanks

I tried to get a scratch out of my acrylic tank with one of these various grade sandpaper scratch remover kits. But all it seemed to do was creat a big blurred patch of numerous scratches. Any hints or suggestions on this. I dont dare touch the other scratches now.

I need new lighting for a 55 reef tank. (will be limited corals with fish) I was looking at the custom sea life set up w/ moonlights. Its 4x65W. Does anyone have this setup or have thoughts on it. Also would it provide enough light for most of my reef needs other then maybe clams? Thanks

can dwarf angels be kept in a 55g. If so are they reef safe? From what I've read it appears they may nip away at reefs?

I see alot of discussion about tanks being to small to keep tangs. Are their any tangs people feel can comfortably live in a 55 reef. If so what kind? If not are their any similiar type species people have that they like or might suggest. Curious for future refrence. Thanks

wow that is the first time i hear to use bleach! i dont think i even knew there was an unscented bleach. is bleach good for the acrylic though?
