I do frequent water changes, daily Kalk drips, Tropic Marin Bio-Calcium when I need a boost (not very often), Topic Marin Bio-Magnesium rarely, Tropic Marin Bio-Strontium very rarely.

Are fighting conchs not considered a good critter for "shifting"?

You might try a fighting conch for sand sifting...

I would start small and build up if needed. All those little critters can add a significant bio-load to your system in large numbers. IMO some people get carried away with cleaning crews...

Sorry, I don't have a digital camera. Do a Google search and you'll find them. It's mostly pink, with faint vertical white bars, and yellow swirls on his head, purplish fins and a false eye at the base of his tail. Very cool and unique reef fish!
