I was looking at the Kent brand products in an aquarium supply catalog. I have a gift certificate to spend with that supplier. (Kent is the only brand available from them) 1. Has anyone used them? Did you achieve 0 TDS? 2. If not the Kent, what do you recommend? If you do not achieve 0 TDS...

Another thing about the Aqua-Safe, there are some badly angled bends in the tubing that make the seals not flush inside, causing small leaks. It's very finicky, IMO.

Question for those naming your favorite unit - what is your tap water TDS, and does your unti achieve 0 TDS? Also, how much assembly was required? I bought the Aqua-Safe mentioned above, and it was a nightmare to assemble, especially for someone who had never even SEEN a ro/di in person before...

r2odie, that's a bit more than I can spend at the moment. I already will be supplementing with a 150w HQI with lunar lights, so I just need a very basic PC or T5..no need for lunar lights. I also have *no* use for the any actinic bulbs, so I'd prefer one that only had daylight bulbs or no...
