I have a handfull varity of empty shells and one of my Bluelegs took host and he looks like a crawling rock now. If you value your live snails it would be advisable to add a few extra empty shells in the tank. Crabs will change shells due to growth or just for a new look.

I had a case of Ich and put my Clown in Hypo for 7 weeks (6 weeks Ich free). The DT tank has been fish free during that time. I slowly raised the Salinity up from 1.009 to 1.024 (same as the DT) over the past week. When can I put him back into the DT? Should I wait a week or can I transfer him...

I have a treasure chest like decor but he's out and about. The Sg is 1.009 and hasn't moved. The spots are gone. He's eating. His back fin is up for the first time so it looks good. He will make it.

Upon a closer look he still is showning a few white specs. Will the Hypo knock those off or should I attempt another Freshwater Dip?

Nemo is looking alot better today. His color is returning and he's swimming around. I'm going to do a 20% water change, keeping the Sg at 1.009 and add a Ph buffer to get it back to 8.2 from 7.8. I think its under control. Thanks for all your help.

I don't notice any swelling or heavy gilling. I even did the flashlight test and it doesn't seem to be any velvet like patchs. The other 2 fish that died didn't have swollen or bleeding gills as I recall.
