thanks, i got the base rock with the tank and hand picked the live rock from a friend who was getting out of the hobby.

after tweaking and re tweaking and replumbing several times, im done. as of last night i got the rock work how i want it. basically what I did was, instead of having 2-1inch drains and 2-3/4inch returns i made everything a drain and only 1-1inch return back into the tank. here are some pictures...

bathing her daily will do her more harm than good. go to the vet and get advantage. buy the dose for big dogs, its not much more in cost and its only difference is that it has more in the tube so it will last you longer. this will kill any fleas that are on her. but bathing daily definately isnt...

going reef for sure. I actually bought the tank and it had been setup for 3 years, and all the rock in the tank now was live rock ,but it was poorly maintained so i dried it all out and started with fresh clean base rock. i cant wait untill i can start adding life to the tank.
