Hi! Well, the puffer and pinktail are now in the tank, no problems, no puffing...but I must say, these are really two great fish! Now, if I can just talk my niger into being good.... Lynda

Hi, I guess I was not clear...I know how to acclimate a fish, however, I do not understand how to get the puffer out of the bag and into a net, then into the tank, without him inflating. What if he gets stuck in the net? Lynda

Hi, Forgot to mention one other thing. Our checkerboard wrasse was in our 45 gallon while we were waiting for our 120 to cycle. The 45 has the plenum....he was not a very happy camper. He did bury himself everynight, but was unable to get as deep as he would obviously like. Plus, we were on...

RobbyTT, The plenum is a pain to set up, #1. It is very systematic, one uses aragonite which takes hours to wash, then tops with LS, after all the screens are in place. The problem is that after all that work, if you have any creatures in your tank that sift through the sand, they might...

Hi, The Nature's Ocean live sand works great, and can be seeded with live critters either through LR or through a bag of LS bought from a LFS. I bought 80 pounds from this site to use in my 120, and really like it! Great stuff. I would never use anything but LS, personally. Lynda
