I have a significantly lower wattage light on my current tank, all my rocks are covered in coraline, all of my corals have grown significantly over the last 4 months....so what exactly makes this light crap?

I pre mixed the salt and the water in 2 very clean (with no Chemicals) coolers before I put it into my tank

i got my water tested at a legit reef store. same numbers

anyways, the fish died when I examined it out of the water i couldent find any visible problems

the water was in my tank for 2 weeks with nothing but live rock and a 950gpg circulatory pump

just tested my water and my ammonia was slightly between the 0 and .25 on my test kit. doing a 10 gallon water change with distiller water today. should that help? or is this no problem? I have a green star polyp and pulsing Xenia as well.
