lets say you already have an establish tank with sand bed that was never shifted for over 2 years, then you recently bought a sand shifting goby and star fish and start shifting your sand bed will this be bad or good ?

I heard it was bad having a sand shifter in a sand bed it will release pockets of gasses from the sand and pollute your tank .. I personally go bare bottom in main tank and have a deep sand bed in my 30 gal refuge with no shifters. my tank is doing great .

just give it some more time, they are hardy corals .. nice tank

Nice selection of tangs, I got a blue hippo , powder blue , yellow and purple tang .. they are great with each other but the blue hippo and powder blue will nip at my corals , do your tangs do this?

I would buy some nice cleaner shrimps .. and also a foxface and tang would be to much for a 60 gal tank .. a coral banded shrimp is aggressive and will kill cleaner shrimps in a small tank so I wouldn't put him back ..I would not stress the fish even more just leave the tang inside the tank and...

that's the same thing I do I buy 50$ corals for 10$ and they come back to life ... I do have to wait for there recovery ... what kind of tangs do you have ..great job on the corals

I live in Maryland and was interested in heading to macna but have not bought tickets yet, how many do you have and how much for each ticket $50 or $129 ??

another fish is the male anthies they have nice color and are great with other fish

even duo I have so many center piece corals this is one of my favorites .. my elegance coral its getting so big that I have to move it to the side I can't leave out my clam

this is my center piece fish .. he is great had him for two years and is the main boss of the tank. the only thing I don't like about big blue is he sometimes moves my corals around and nips at my open brain corals his a bully :)

It sounds like there's something wrong with the tank .. I would check up on that .

as you can tell my tank has NO Substarte , no sand only in the fuge.. and everything is doing great.. keeps my tank clean and I can add as much flow as I need.. and believe it or not I only use tap water I don't have a RO/DI system .

as you can see from the picture I started with live and dead rock to start... then in about 5 to 6 month.. can you tell the difference??
