I just replaced the cc in the front half of my 75 with a dsb it looks awsome. I have used cc in every tank i have had for the past 15 years with no problems. I did not want to take the hole tank down because the soft coral has already attached to the live rock. It looks awsome:D

NO. I have had a reef tank going for the past 10 plus years and i have never used carbon. I think carbon neutralizes the suplements you add to your tank for coral growth. Keith

I just got through reading the post about the worst mistakes ever made. What is the problem with using crushed coral in the bottom of the tank? I have been using this for the past 10 to 12 years in my reef tank with no problems. Thanks Keith

I have a Clown Trigger that has been in a reef tank for about 5 years now. He has never bothered any corals. Only problem i see is that you cannot keep any shrimp,snales or tube worms with them.
