if i was you, i wouldnt skimp on the skimmer, thats what i did and ended up buying a euroreef, they are the best out there imo and many others opinion

I just made a sump myself with a 20L and home depot wont have acrylic it will be plexy glass and yes you can silicone it in. Just make sure you get aquarium silicone. i would sugest 1/4 it's nice and sturdy. good luck it's alot of fun

CPR says yes you can place a heater etc in thier HOB fuges but to be carful not to burn your macros

mission completed, used two bottle jacks and a couple 4x4's and went length wise across the front lip with it, it was a breeze that's for sure. but very scary lol

mabey i should get a bottle type car jack with a 2x4 piece on it jack it up next to the brace first. my tank is full of water keep in mind, or have you done this before?
