sorry to hear that, my six line wrasse just went dead on me as well. Flushed him today It was just like yours, no marking or anything, no white or pale at all, it just went dead. So im not sure what happened to yours but i would like to hear what others have in mind about your fish.

make sure you check your powerheads within the tank. I lost one of my cleaner shrimp to my powerhead (he got sucked), after that, i took off the suction part that looks like a funnel, no more missing shrimps and hermit crabs as well.

they melted? that paints a very horrific picture in my mind.
