are you sure its not just a blue spotted, or a blue spotted ribbon tale ray? if its a ribbontale they dont live that long in any aquariums, no matter what level of experties the keeper is at. they are very hard to get to feed. i fed mine blood worms and ghost shrimp...believe me i spent over 50...

iv done fresh water dips and came with awsome results..just dont leave the fish in ther more than five minutes..the only one that i didnt have succes was on a copperband butterfly fish...he died the next day.

bamboo- gupies (not a a good habbit), brine shrimp, krill....once a day eel- silversides,krill,gupies.... once every other day

ive got my eel with anenomes, frog spawn, plate coral, etc. she does fine with em, never attacks them...iv had them all for over a year.

i think its because they walk into a pet shop and see all the colorfull and neat looking fish, for instance a shark or sting ray.' or they wach movies with huge aqauriums, like deuce bigilow male gigilo, and they see all that guys fish, like the lion he had.
