I think this is a common problem with he sea clones, I also have a sea clone 100, and ran into the same problems .for the first few days it was pumping out lots of tiny bubbles, but after a week or so ,the problem cleared up. hope this helps.

for an anemone i would say no, not enough light light, but there are many soft corals you could choose from. maybe some mushrooms or a colt or something along those lines.just my opinion though.:)

i too have the sea-clone 100, and im using the same method as some of you other guys,i driled a hole for the air line, and im useing a limewood airstone in addition to the pump venturi. in my opinoin it greatly improved the scum collecting ability of my sea-cone!

i' say 15 scarlet hermits, 25 snails and 5 green emerald crabs would be a good start.

the temp. of my 55 gal. cruses' at 80 . i'd say 78-80 is a good area to shoot for.a stable temp is vital to your tank.:)

i've found that when my sally molts it will hide for a day or 2. i think this is because it takes a little while for the new shell to harden. if its not a molt, maybe it died of old age?

when i moved my tank, i used 30 gallon rubbermaid tubs. you can pick these up at walmart for a few bucks each.

another option would be to go with 4- 48in. bulbs at 110 watts each. 60 watts more than 4-36's and 120 watts more than 2-72in. bulbs.

also, the larger particle size of the crushed coral will eventualy work themselves to the top.in my opinian this makes the substrate look terrible. i made this mistake on my first tank and ill never do it again. just my opinian though:)

i never had any luck with calerpa until i started running my refugium lights 24/7 now it grows like a weed!

i've noticed this same activity with my emeralds, ithink there just relieveing themselves.:D
