So its been 2 days, and the clam is still in the same spot. But the way he has positioned himself, his mantle rubs against the rocks when its fully out. Is this ok? Will it irritate him? Should I move him again? Here is a picture, you can see the right half of his mantle is against the rocks.

This may be a noob question, but hey, what are forums for, right? But anyway, the CUC is supposed to keep the sand bed moving and turning over, but how is this supposed to happen if you have something like a plate coral on the sand bed? Do you move it every so often?

That much, I also think is true. I just couldn't find any species specific info online for the thing because I didn't know what species it was, haha. Just wondering if anyone knew anything that was important besides general sand sifting goby care.
