I'm looking into Zeovit as well. I'm not worried about the cost at all. Still doing my research and reading a ton on their forums.

Cant keep corals even for a second?

I wouldn't add anything to the tank. Don't "buffer" anything. Stop using tap water. That could be your problem right there. Buy an RO/DI unit. The cost of an RO/DI unit is nothing compared to the total cost of owning a reef tank. Quote: Originally Posted by dm 0620 i had a fish tank cleaner...

    Birthday present from my wife

I wouldn't dose iodine. Unless you have a tank loaded with corals, you shouldn't have to dose anything. All the essential elements are in the salt mix, which get replenished with water changes.

    Hello!

If they are tube snails, they just poke their head out eating nutrients that comes across its way. I have a bunch that are attached to my hammer coral. I enjoy them.. it gives my tank variety. Quote: Originally Posted by blooddogg757 I will certainly get another piece of live rock today and...

I'm just saying you can use GFCI breakers in the electrical panel, vs replacing outlets (if they are not easily accessible) an AFCI is an "arc" fault circuit interrupter. Most house electrical fires are from arc faults. Quote: Originally Posted by meowzer UPDATE: This morning I got up and the...

You can get GFCI breakers for the panel. And (off topic), you can also get AFCI breakers.
