I have 75g display tank and a 10g qt. I have not used a qt in the past. BUT after a wipe out of ALL my fish last month from a disease brought in by a new fish that was not put in a qt. I will do so when I start putting fish back in my tank.

I need to start a QT tank and would like to know if the setup I have is ok or need work. I have now a 10 gal tank that filters off my 75 gal tanks system. I am thinking of add a 2nd filter to the 10 gal tank and when I add a new fish I will shut off the water flow from the 75 gal tank. Letting...

The tank is a 75 gal. The we are looking at a juvenile emperor and a med tang to raplace the lost ones. We are also looking for 1 or 2 other small or med size fish. We have lots of rocks and inverts. we want a good game plan before our restart. If you have a good addition we will appreciate it.

I have a 75 gal. tank and would like to get a blue hippo tang but I have with a powder brown tang. I have had him in the tank for 2 1/2 months. Can I put the hippo tang in with the powder brown?
