I built a LED fixture for my 14 BC and could not be happier. Only time will tell how the SPS will react to the light. The Nanotuners retro kit is nice but they told me for high output to go with the Cree LED.

Placing a shrimp in the tank for a little while will create the ammonia spike you need to get the cycle rolling. You can really use anything, a piece of fish, fish food.

The rock was out of water for about 5 hours. It sat in a tube with lights and a skimmer for about five days then went into the tank. Test the other day and I have some traces of Nh3.

I had a custom acrylic tank made a while back I am now living in a very warm climate and also don't have room to set it back up. Will it hurt the tank to store it in the attic. Thanks
