WOW why does everyone have to knock people... they look like thy know what there doing they would not be in business if they didn't. all i see is a bunch of jealous bitter haters..... just messed up. its a reality TV show its not meant to be a "how to build a fish tank" show.

ya I'm thinking that now to. i just jumped the gun a little bit. I'm new at doing my own maintenance on the tank,i used to have a company come every 2 weeks on my old tank but times are a little tighter these days so I'm learning as i go.. thanks for the response thu.

i got pics on my profile in one of the tank pics you can see all the brown stuff starting to form on the back of the tank.

like once a day i give them a small cube of frozen krill half a frozen shrimp or sometimes a whole one. i have a yellow tang, large dog face puffer, snowflake eel, small spotted puffer, wrasse, butterfly. and yes i set it up with tap water. i do do water changes but just like 1/4 at a time like...

i just posted the same question i forgot i posted this when the tsnk was new. but still having the same problem i got more rock in the tank and in the sump and im still getting the brown stuff like every week im i feeding to much? its makeing me crazy and i still cant get the water clear its...

my tank keeps getting brown stuff on the glass and on the sand. what can be the cause? and what is the best way to prevent it from happening.. i do water changes but not big ones im not sure how to do a big water one and keep the salt level ok? any help and advise would be great. thanks.

not sure what to do with this brown stuff in my tank tank is pretty new i just put in two clown fish and they have been in for about two weeks and seem to be doing ok.

its still one hell of a noisy tank but im happy i solved one problem. gonna pick up a valve later today and some stuff to seal up the stand with and ill see what happens..

i think i just fixed one of my issues, it looked like the drip try was kinda poorly made there was only about 18 small holes so the water could not pass tru the holes quick enough so it would over flow into the other section of the sump where the "clean" water was with out passing thu the...

Will that hurt my filtration thu slowing down the cycle? i was gonna do something under the tank to seal it up but wasnt sure if that was a good idea due to air circulation. but im gonna go for it.. Thanks

is putting live sand in on a new tank ok even if its not cyceled yet? shit hope so i just put 60 pounds of live sand in my tank1 the bag of sand said instant cycle! the tank is less then a week old..

this is pretty much my same problem.. is it better to put a valve on the drain line or the return line? cause my water is slamming into the drip try and splashs out around the sides and out the vent what is the standpipe? i see people talking about that?
