Good point... didn't think of that... Still, me and two of my buddies were barely able to lift the 180 gl, EMPTY... And believe me, we bench each over 200 lbs.... I will keep reading these DYI posts on making stands. I will take all advice, hence a big T-Y

OK, so my percula's just started spawning today; a beautiful orange layer... And, obviously just now I have to disassemble the tank and move in 4 weeks! Please tell me it was going to be an illusion anyway to raise the fry in a reef tank (or even have the spawn hatched)?

I find it uh... interesting but no, I haven't tried it. I don't think I will either as I neither like plastic treasure chests and Atlantis replica's in my tank. I am an all-natural kind of guy... Thanks for posting though...

Hi all, I am looking to upgrade to a 180 gl soon. So far I have been using VHO (JBJ Formosa DX) on my 72 gl BF and grow softies quite well. On my new 180 I would like to have MH only or a MH/VHO combination. I do like to have clams and stonies some day. I am looking at these choices: 1)...

Thanks for replying. Your opinion is unanimous.. :) I really like open tanks without a canopy, hence my choices listed. I have seen pendants that also had lunar LEDs in them which looked cool to me as well. I think i will post my same question in the newbee forum hoping for some more...
