I would also leave information on your LRS with him. My tank went crazy with algae and heat while i was gone, turns out my light timer was not shunting off, but my lrs was able to help solve the problem while i was gone and out of contact.

if you can wait to move the tank the best idea would be to go buy your new filter and start running it in the tank with the old one still there. I think you will have less problems if you use the same water and a filter that has been running for several weeks in that water

I was looking for a little cheaper one i am just using this tank for a qt tank with a small bio load. I will look to turn it into a aggressive tank in time but that is after i get my 154 were i want it and i plan to change out the skimmer when i do that. any more suggestions
