50 watts is all i got. its a full spectrum light, but it is definitely not metal halide. what should i feed it and how?

Can someone please help identify what went wrong here? I have a pink tipped anmone that spent the day yesterday all shrivled up and now it has finally started to inflate. however, the tentacles no longer inflate to the tips. what happened? thanks in advance!

What is the best way to incrementally increase the salinity?

What does it usually take to alter salinity? is there some formula that could be used to determine. My salinity is at 30 ppt right now at 78 degrees F. Should I be messing with it at all? Thanks in advance!

My Pink Tipped Hatian anemone seems to inflate and deflate fully once every 24 hours. Is this normal? Is this behaviour because of the crab anemone or the clown fish always bugging it? Thanks in advance!

its not cyano. i have seen that algea and i have eradicated it. the algea that you refer to is dark red. the algea that i refer to is the color of this smiley thing ->:jumping:

I seem to have some gray/purple algae forming on my crushed coral on the bottom of the tank. It sort of looks like the purple stuff on the live rock. I know it’s not cyano (I have conquered that) and it’s not the brown diatoms (that are getting eaten by the cleanup crew). Is this stuff bad? What...

That is the question. I have been running Carbon in my filters for a few months now. is it neccessary? Could I be doing harm by utilizing the carbon? Thanks! -Phil
