Saltwater will eat at the little gears in those rotating powerheads after a short time and cause them to stop. Then your just stuck with a expensive powerhead. When in the long run you could just save yourself some money and buy a regular PH like a maxijet or hagen.

Good water movement promotes growth in everything(even algea). So yes anpother powerhead would help in promoting growth in your tank. Also, it's better to have alot of random and crossing current rather than a one way flow. The oceans current swips and swaps back and forth constantly.
