Anyone kept a bunch of dwarf angels together in the same tank?

Should be setting up TWO tanks?!?

I wouldnt set up a quarantine tank for a 12 gallon tank. the fish in those tanks wouldnt be costly enough to justify one, and none of the appropriately sized fish are really disease/infection prone, and even if they do get diseased alot of good medicines are reef safe.

    What to feed

just go to a fish store and if its any sort of decent store it will have these items in its freezer.

Anyone kept a bunch of dwarf angels together in the same tank?

you should have an acrylic guy make you a good sized box with holes in it on all sides so you can just put the fish in there and hang it on the inside of your tank so the other fish cant get to it but they can still see it. hopefully after a couple weeks in there you will be able to introduce it...

    What to feed

krill, silversides, squid, clams on the half shell, clam strips, large plankton, PE mysis, brine shrimp... most of your fish are large so they will like the first 4 are for everything but the butterfly. the butterfly will like the mysis, large plankton and clam strips. the puffer and trigger...

    ive herd this is possible

^ I dont doubt that at all. but still, a fish not growing is possible due to tank size. but my official answer is that the fish will grow to what ever size it wants but it will get spinal deformities if its in a tank thats too small. wether or not thats the truth is another story. still, would I...

    ive herd this is possible

^yeah it does. I had a green coris wrasse in a 12g for ever, about a year, he never grew. I moved him to my 100g and he has more than doubled in time in just about four months. dont get me wrong, I would never put a tang in a 12gallon because they are so sensitive and would probably be ick laden...

    Clown Tang

the small juveniles dont fare too well. Ive seen two go down recently, there really hard to get to eat. Id recommend getting a larger one if you can, I would just try to add him last.

    light good enough for anemones???

sounds like plenty of light to me for an anemone. I wouldnt be too scared to try one, not a carpet obviously but a bubble tip or a long tentacle would be fine IMO. and low light SPS may do good at the top of your rocks, but those in my opinion aren't much fun, especially if your getting in to...

    time for first fish!!

I wouldnt add the foxface first, personally, but if thats what you really want I say go for it. sounds like your tank is plenty cycled and is ready for life. rabbit fish are hardy and would be a perfectly acceptable tank inhabitant early in your tanks life.

    Purple and Yellow tang together

If I was doing this I would buy the smaller one first, and then the bigger one second. dont get me wrong, theres still a pretty good chance that they will fight, because thats what happens when you add two fish of the same family together to the same tank. But it is still possible. But the real...

    What is Refugium for?

a sump is the filter that goes under your aquarium that looks like another tank under it. it usually has your filter pads, bioballs, and carbon filtration in addition to being the place that most people will put their skimmers heaters and return pumps that go back to the tank. now a refugium is...

    restarting my 12g aquapod

you being gone will not affect the tank what so ever. I would only do one water change after the tank has cycled. then another before you start adding stuff which to my understanding is going to be in about two months. all this is fine so long as you 1. keep the AC on at least 80 and 2. buy a...

    can i keep brains?

I would try it, you have decent lighting and I do it with not much more. I have had good success with trachyphylia (I know I butchered the spelling of that one) but not really favia or favites. but I think its worth it, just try and find a cheap one.

    Used Flame Angel

No matter how much you feed them they will have a taste for certain corals. mine will munch xenia like its nothing. same with zoos, theres no amount of food in the world that could keep it away from zoos. good looking fish, but they will teach you real fast which corals you cant keep.
