I am being relocated to anothe city with my job, and moved my tank this weekend. The move is about 80 mi. Moving a tank is difficult work! So far, my fish are doing well. I think they like the change in scenery (there was no way for me to re-stack my rocks the exact same way after the move.)...

If you're worried about the structure supporting the tank, you might consider putting plywood, or planks underneath the base of the tank. That way, the weight from the center of the tank would be distributed to the structural members you already have in place. I don't know if this is a simple...

I know it's been a while, and there have been lots of additions to my tank. My levels have been great, and real stable. I'm dealing with a bit of an algae problem, but I have shortened my lighting time, and am feeding less often. I hope that helps. Anyway, some pictures to bring you up to speed:
