Well this thread started with something that I was interested in, and turned into plain stupidity. Req - Nice tank man. I would love to see more pictures, including plumbing and filtration. What are the sides of the tank made of? How thick are the windows? Glass or acrylic? More details...

The tank is great, but lets not forget all the plumbing at stuff. That is a fabulous setup, everything is set up so nice and clean, even the part of your setup that is not supposed to be viewed is show quality. Nice job you really thought through the entire setup of your tank. Nick

Got any pictures of the Japanese one?

I know novice150 has a black tip in with a horn shark, and bamboo shark. He had a leopard in there and it got killed by the black tip. Also almost everything he put in with the black tip was killed. Nick

I just want to stop taking care of the tank. I talked to someone who wants $160 a month for two visits. It sounded pretty steep. Nick

300+ for sure. The smallest tank I have seen a black tip in was a 700 gal. You should start with something smaller and easier to take care of like a bamboo or less active shark speics Get the book Nick
