I've had to use tap water when i was snowed in before. I keep a bottle of Amquel Pro handy to neutralize most of the tap water contaminates. Good Luck.

the two clowns u are reffering to are not the same type of clown. In some cases true and false percs have been know to pair and even mate but, i haven't read of any instace where the maroon and goldstripe maroon have paired. Maroons are highly aggressive. If u have a seperate tank to put one...

I'm going to put a school of B&W Austrailian Perc clownfish into my 80 gallon tank. How many can i put in? I have a large blue carpet anemone and very few other fish, mostly blue chromis.

That still leaves the question if i need more than one anemone for multiple pairs of fish

thank you for ur posts. I have seen mixed species of clowns at the Monteray Bay Aquarium but, the tank was well over 200 gallons. I may just stick witha school of one species to be safe.
