well i did it. took 3 lbs of liverock from my established 55, aswell as sand and water. i have a 10 gallong hang on back filter, with a heater and thats all. its too small for a skimmer. what about a fuge? what are my options for a tank this small? i was thinking of another small filter, but...

if you only want to keep fish, then you dont need anything special for lights. its good to have live rock and live sand, because it helps with your filtration. a lot of people run regular hang on the back filters on tanks around or under 75 gallons. a protein skimmer is good to have for good...

i bought a royal gramma today, he is about 2 inches long. as soon as i put him in he immediately darted into a cave in the rocks. i put him in during my night cycle, so he would acclimate and settle down better without other fish bothering him. now that the lights are on, my other two clowns...

anyone with a large amount of coralline on their glass mind scraping a bagfull off and mailing it to me? trying to get it started in my tank, but there really isnt anyone in my area. i read about people with HUGE amounts of coralline on here, always complaining about scraping it. :) anyways...
