I noticed my emerald crab had molted out of his shell. He is much bigger and nastier looking with his new pinchers.

I have two starfish and they have both thrived on just what ever has fallen to the ground, rock, and glass. I feed my fish a variety of stuff day (ie. frozen mysis shrimp, dried plankton, fish flakes, zooplankton, and frozen brine shrimp).

How did the rock smell before you put it in? If it had a bad odor to it, then it isn't cured. You should have known right away how it was before you put it into your tank. Did you purchase it from a LFS and if you did, do you know how long they had it in a tank.

I would just stick to keeping the damsels in for atleast a week or two just to see how everything goes. If the LR wasn't cured, then you might see some intense amonia spikes which could easily wipe out your fish. Do you have a protein skimmer? That would help out to cure the LR.

It probably would be a good idea to put in the live rock first just to help out the cycling of the new tank. Then maybe wait a day or two to put the fish in. Just my two cents.

That is some great info. I just recently bought a sebae anemone and my false percula hasn't even gone to it. At the fish store they had sebae anemones with false percs and they were all doing fine. Just hope mine comes around to liking it as well. Any tips on just feeding the anemone? Any...

Your fish should only consume what is to be eaten between 3 to 5 minutes. I feed my fish a variety of foods, never the same for a whole week. Try using frozen mysis shrimp, Red Sea Zooplankton, fish flakes, freeze dried krill, freeze dried plankton, and of course some seaweed for a variety...
