He will get way to big for your tank about 15 inches I believe and will most likely eat all of your other fish shortly.. Starving the lion will only make it sick and die.

Do you have a refugium.. Sounds like your nitrates are high.. test your nitrate level..

shut it off and see if everything goes back to normal

I would like to get a coral catshark. Any opinion on what is the best shark to keep in a tank around the size of a 300 gallon tank. I will go with a 7ft long and 2.5 ft wide tank or a little bigger. thanks..

looks good.. just make sure the rocks are well secured.

if i decide to do a shark it will be the only fish in the tank.. with me reef i always maintained 0 nitrates so that should be easy part.. getting a good healthy shark is what worries me the most..

I would not.Ive sometimes had problems restarting filters after they have been off.. Take the filter back and get a different one like a wisper..
