so, lowering the inner box will effectively raise the water level inside the inner box itself, right?

Why would a higher inner box create more bubbles? I'm thinking the drop to the water level in the inner box will be the same despite where it is placed, bc the water level in the tank will change dependent on it.

I can raise and lower the inside unit. I lowered it to make sure that the flow rate was sufficient, what do you suggest?

I'm getting great flow - that is what I cant figure out, the pump is only a few months old. Just trying to figure out how these bubbles are getting in the overflow box. Going to clean it out and reset everything and see how it goes.

I bought a new return line, think this should help?

She'll be happy once we get this figured out. There are bubbles in the box that is inside the tank, prior to the syphon. They are originating from where the water spills over into the box, could these bubbles accumulate inside the U-tube causing it to eventually lose syphon?

Ok, im going home in a few minutes. I'll clean things out and let you know. How should I go about cleaning the drain line? I am replacing the return line and prefilters. Thanks

She is definitely tired of mopping up water! It is not a CPR, so I cant add that attachment. Everything is set up correctly, and we have never had problems until recently. So you say I should check my drain line? It is opaque, could there still be an algae problem? I just cant figure out how...

My tank is at home, and my mom is taking care of it. She keeps calling me saying that the tank is overflowing. Turns out we keep losing syphon in our overflow box, I have her fix it and things are good for a while - and then it happens again. She is about to just unplug everything and forget...

the innards are gone, or just covered up by the other mushrooms which are back to normal size now. I dont see any new mushrooms? What do you think happened and what should I do?
