    I have 2 - 250w MH's with 20k ....and I'll never get anything different! as far as the question about wattage on VHO 48" ....it's probably gonna be 110 watts.

    New Mandarins!!!!I

    I have one and I have never seen her sleep. I call her a female cause she's beautiful ;) She hunts day and night. The funny thing is, I can see the pods hiding in my sun coral colony so she can't reach them. Her name is Mandy BTW :) Good luck with them!

    OK, I hear alot of stories about sanitation concerning before working on your tank. Do you wash your hands before entering your tank, or do you just plung in? If you do wash your hands, do you wash with "anti-bacterial" soap? Just a thread I thought I would start to get opinions from everyone...

    Live Sand Question???

    IMO - only :) Don't suck the sand, get critters to clean that. Get rid of the crushed coral, too hard to keep clean ....as you are experiencing. You'll have to remove everything from your tank, of course to remove the coral. Yes, you can use play sand, but I would definitely get Live Sand too...
