I got my clownfish like 2 days ago and he hasnt been eating his flakes so i tried feeding him mysis shrimp and he wont eat that either, what shoould i do!

Well i have a 29 gal. bowfront with a 2 inch sandbed and i was wondering if getting 5 Nassarius Snails and 2 mouse cowries is fine and also do they eat stuff off the sand or do you have to feed them. THANX!
