Has anyone tried one of these for hair algae control?

Trying to reduce GHA I have cut my feeding back to every 3 days. In my 75 gal. I have: 1 Anthias 3 Chromis 1 Black Cap 1 Clown 1 Yellow Tang 1 Wrasse I feed them all frozen: Formula 1 and 2 Mysis Blood Worms Krill Brine Is this ok or am I starving my fish?

I have to add some new aragonite sand to my existing sand bed. There is some GHA on the top of the old sand bed. Is it ok to just put the new sand on top of the old sand and green hair algae?

I was thinking of getting the Yellow Watchman Goby, and the Tiger Pistol Shrimp. Would this be a good combination in a 75 gal tank? So far all is well in the tank. I'm about to do the change from cc to sand. I bought Caribsea Seaflor Special Grade Reef Sand.

What type of sand did you use?

I'll be changing the cc to sand and wondered what depth the sand bed should be.

Not knowing any better I used cc for my substrate.Now I wish I had used sand. Is it worth all the trouble to change it now, or wait untill it has to be changed. Has anyone changed it? Is it a real pain? I guess I'm not sure what I would do with the livestock. With my ro/di unit it would take...

I'm trying to get a power head or a pump to suck out all the stuff in the bottom of my sump. I bought a Penguin Powerhead Model 1140 - 300 gph power head but it won't draw any water out (its ok for circulation in the main tank). Would someone know of a power head of pump I could use?
