Thanks. I appreciate it. I will go get a rubbermaid container for the live rock. There are no inverts in the tank so i just need to take out eh live rock because the display tank will be my hypo tank. -Mark Harris

I have a tank that has ick and I would like to move the LR to my other reef tank. Just curious if I need to quarantine the live rock or is it alright to just put it directly in my other reef tank. Any comments are welcome. Thanks -Mark

Yep. the packs were like 3x5 inches and white, but wrapped in newspaper.

I just saw the craziest thing.. my yellow tang is the one picking on him. I saw him nibbling at the stubbs of its antenae. Is this strange or common. -Mark

thanks for the info... I think it might have been the CBS that I have. I did a water change yesterday could this have caused the premature molt.. and will its limbs grow back eventually. Mark

Okay... heres the deal I have been looking at retro kits on ---- for my 30 long. I found one that has two 96 watt bulbs but they claim it uses a workhorse 5 ballast to power both bulbs. ANd the workhorse 5 only puts out 128 watts.. Will that even power up the bulbs, or what will it do to them...

Well I got an email reply. He said that they have fulham ballasts an dthe bulbs are 6400 Kelvin and Blue Actinic, he said thats all he know about the bulbs. So any more advice would still be appreciated. Thanks Mark Harris
