    lighting=red slime???

    I would also recommend leaving your lights off for as much as possible. if you are feeding daily, start going to every other day for a week or two. If all else fails, I used this stuff called Chemi-clean, a white powdery substance that I got from the LFS. I really was hesitant to put any...

    algae remover?????

    I just had a red slime problem a few weeks ago, I bought this stuff called Chemi-Clean, comes in a little vile, it is a white powder substance. Question about a adding a refugium

    I am thinking of adding fuge to my 60g reef. I am currently running a canister filter and skimmer. I am wondering if it is better to switch to a Wet/Dry first and then add the refugium, or if I can leave the canister and just simply add a fuge. Also what GPH would be suitable for a refugium?

    Thinking about adding a fuge

    What purpose does the overflow box do? By the name of it I can kind of figure it out, but does it prevent the pump in the aquarium from displacing water too quickly? I was thinking of doing a sump and a fuge together if that is feasible.

    Thinking about adding a fuge

    I am thinking of adding a fuge to my 60g reef tank. Right now I am running a canister filter, but the more and more I read on it, i think that I should start a fuge. I have about 3 inch crushed coral base, that I have wanted to substitute for a long time, but am afraid of starting a whole new...

    Cutting xenia in display tank?

    You should gently cut the base of the stalks and have your friend rubber-band them around small rocks. They may look dead for a while but they will grow back if your tank conditions are good.
