I think I will get new sand instead of chancing the entire ecosystem. What would I do with the naturally occuring feather dusters that have grown in the sand bed though, can I salvage them? Thanks for all th advice it is much appreciated....

I currently have a 55 gallon reef. I will be making a move in about a week and wanted to know if I need to change my live sand to new live sand the trasport is right about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. I am willing to buy new sand but was hoping I wouldn't have to. Any suggestions?

I have 3 blue/green chromis and have discovered what may be fish eggs stuck on the aquarium glass. They are white in color. Could anyone please shed some light as to what fish eggs look like, I have never experienced this.
