My tank is 96X30X24

So far the Clown is behaving. I put him in last and he is very tame. If he gets out of control, he will go. As we all know we have seem some grow to 10" and behave and some go to 5" and don't behave. I am optomistic.

I got the blueface when it was "changing"

The angels don't even look at each other. They range from 3" to 7" I hope it stays that way... I put them in all at the same time though. The small ones first.

I have a 300 (8' long) gallon with chepo Lowes $10 lights (qty 2 4' strips) on there. I want to get some good lights but I have no idea what to get. My tank is FOWLR but I may make it a reef down the road. Which are some good lights to get. I would like to spend no more that $300. Thanks

Hmmm. I used to have a 55 gallon and never had this problem with tap water. Which lights do you mean? The tank or sump?

I have a Lowes 4' cheap shop light. The lights are on about 8 hours a day, but I don't have it on a timer. I am not sure of the wattage. I don't want to get harassed, but I use tap water. Can that be a problem? Again, the water is green, not dirty. It is just not as nice to look at.

I am not sure about my phospates. I seem to have misplaced my tester. My lights are on at most 4 hours a day... I scooped a ton of algae out of the sump today. I'll change the water and see how it goes.

I have a question for the experts: A few days after I change my water, it turns green. I have no idea why... I don't think I am over feeding. I have a 300 gallon FOWLR with a 90 gallon sump. The person that set it up said to put plants in the sump and it will help make the water clear and take...

Dang, looks like I got hosed... At what size do the lines get curved on a Queen??

I bought a "Queen" from SWF about 5 months. I was only about an inch when I got it. I am looking around and I think that I may have gotten a "Blue" angel. Which one do I have?

I had a blue background and I didn't like the way it looked. I bet if I get better lights, it would look better.

For now just $10 lighting. I will upgrade later...
