finally taking the great mandarin jump

Well getting more fish isn't the worst thing to hear in this hobby!! So then what everyone's opinion if I added more fish should I get another mandarin or a different kind? I did lots of research about mandarins in tanks but never into their wild life. Do the girls live in groups with 1 dude or...

finally taking the great mandarin jump

Maybe but she was this way in the holding tank when she could see my Damsel. Like when I would go to add food she would dart back and forth and practically smash into the walls to get away it always made me feel so bad. And I had rocks and stuff in with her to make her less stressed. But being...

finally taking the great mandarin jump

I want to eventually just add her food to the feeders that way I'm containing it and can get a better feel as to how much is enough/too much. But she is so so skiddish that I was afraid she won't eat enough if I didn't put food out on the back rocks. I'll go ahead a stop that. I only have snails...

finally taking the great mandarin jump

Thanks for nice suggestions guys! I'm not going to add anything soon but having an idea if I do is awesome. And what I was saying was I don't want a fish to eat not only her pod treats but any of her food sources at all. I have the BBS feeder and a jar in opposite ends of the tank so that's...

finally taking the great mandarin jump

I do like the idea of having a male for her but I just want to focus on her for now i just want to make sure I can even keep her happy and healthy in the first place. She is the only fish in the tank as an attempt to reduce any stress or food comp. Once i get the hang of it i may do a male or...

finally taking the great mandarin jump

Well my damsel is gone. His name was Digger and I fear I'll never have another fish with his spunk. But he's off to bigger and better places, I even gave them his favorite snacks so he will be happy and I get visitation rights lol. So it's just my mandarin, snails, hermits, and some mushrooms...

finally taking the great mandarin jump

I just picked up so mysis and cyclopeeze so I'll be trying them also. But when I put in her afternoon bunch of eggs she went straight to the bunch and stated eating she didn't even give them time to break up and float around. So I'm very happy about that.
