    RO/DI Tanks?

Is it wise to use RO/DI tanks? I ask because there would not be much water circulations in the tank if it was only used twice a month for aquarium water changes. Would this not lead to raised levels of Nitrite or ammonia?

    Fish not eating

[hr] I've had my Coral Beauty for about two weeks and I've not seen it eat. Had it in QT and just moved to main tank. The water quality is fine and it's the only fish besides a clown and some shrimp in the tank (90gal). It seems to be healthy and swiming normal. No signes of disease. I've tried...

    Marine Alge?

My fuge light produces a great amount of heat and I was wondering how long should the light be on to keep up the Marine Algae? Would a mini fan help with the heat? What is the max Fish Only aquarium temp?

    Bubble Trouble

I’m getting a lot of micro bubble in my DT from my sump. I’m not sure that is has a true bubble trap see the picture below. What can I use to reduce or eliminate the bubbles? I was thinking some sort of sponge between the baffles.

    Fuge setup?

I want to have a fuge set up on my new sump. I was wondering what I need to get it set up. I’m purchasing some extra LR rubble and sand. I hear I could put Chaetomorpha Algae in there also. Anything else? What are some of the basic to setting up and maintaining one?

    Nitrites out of control

I’m having trouble keeping my QT Nitrites under control. Just added a Yellow Tank to QT last Friday. The tank is 10gal has a heater, power head, and a biowheel filter. I ran the Biowheel on my main tank for a week prior to build up bacteria. I can’t remember the actual level of the reading, but...

    SUMP vs Canister?

Are sumps really that superior to a good canister filter? I’m not talking about ability to place skimmers and such, just performance wise. If so why?

    LR instead of Bioballs

I want to use LR instead of Bioballs in my sump for filtration. How much do I need for a 90gal FO tank which already has 110+pds? I read some where that it should be cleaned periodically, if so how often and how?
